To create awareness for Shell’s #makethefuture campaign through an interactive event to simultaneously engage communities at multiple locations across the globe.

Solution Pavegen developed the #makethefuture Pelé Penalty Challenge at the Olympic Park in Stratford, where players would run on the tiles to generate energy before attempting the penalty shootout. The game was also played simultaneously in Nigeria and users were able to compete between the two locations and gain a place on a global leader board.

Impact Over 1,500 people took part in the Pelé Penalty Challenge across 3 days, with a constant crowd of parents, teachers, school children and other spectators enjoying the fun. Players were able to connect between the communities and engage with the Shell brand.
