SEAT wanted to showcase their brand-new commitment to electrification in a way that would captivate audiences, leaving them with something to remember.
THE SOLUTION
With the help of award-winning Pavegen technology, SEAT as a brand has been able to promote its values and build lasting bonds with their consumers through shared positive experiences.
Implemented at the Gare Saint-Lazare, visitors are invited to participate in a unique experience, all triggered through the simple act of a footstep. Hopping, skipping or jumping over the walkway, Parisians can contribute their steps, to be transformed into off-grid energy and sent towards the charging of commuters’ electric bicycles.

SEAT has truly harnessed the power of Paris’ local community. Through the installation, the brand has brought their values of mobility and electrification to life all through the power of people. Rather than disrupting journeys through a traditional advertising campaign, the installation has been able to excite and inspire the community through a collection of locally-based events as well as bicycle charging.
