Pavegen have teamed-up with the Minnesota Vikings to redefine STEM experiences through engagement and gamification.
6th September 2023 - London, UK
We've always believed in the potential of kinetic energy, and now, we're using it to spark a passion for STEM. Let's dive into how the Minnesota Vikings and Pavegen are making STEM education an exhilarating journey.
In 2023, the Minnesota Vikings, an NFL powerhouse, joined forces with Pavegen to launch a one-of-a-kind fan experience. This kinetic experience ingeniously blends STEM education, sustainability, and entertainment, all powered by Pavegen's groundbreaking kinetic technology.
gamified stem learning
We have launched 2 interactive energy games to engage each and every visitor at the Viking's training camp around sustainability and STEM learning:
the 40-Yard Dash - A Gamified STEM Challenge.
Picture this: you're racing against your favourite Vikings players in the 40-Yard Dash. Fans visiting the Vikings' training camp in Eagan, Minnesota, get the chance to do just that.
But here's the twist: Pavegen's kinetic floor tiles capture your every step and convert it into off-grid electricity in real time. It's a thrilling example of gamification, seamlessly merging athleticism and sustainability, and showing that STEM can be exhilarating.
Recreating Legendary Moments:
For those who cherish recreating iconic Vikings moments, Famous Plays is the ultimate challenge. By using kinetic floor interactions, fans can guide a virtual football's flight and reenact legendary plays. The excitement is palpable, and the reward is exclusive video clips of these iconic moments. Gamification turns this into an immersive journey, making learning STEM principles feel like an adventure.
STEM Education takes Center Stage
Beyond the excitement of the game, the Minnesota Vikings are deeply committed to STEM education. This installation provides a powerful platform for inspiring the local community. It's a tangible way to showcase how energy is all around us, waiting to be harnessed for a brighter future. Through gamification, STEM principles come to life, making learning accessible and engaging.
The Future of stadiums
This collaboration isn't just about watching a game; it's about actively participating in the experience. Gamification and STEM engagement are at the forefront, creating a visual and interactive spectacle that rewards fan loyalty in unprecedented ways. It's a sneak peek into the future of stadiums and fan engagement.
Supporting pavegen's vision through crowdfunding
But there's more to the story. Pavegen is embarking on a crowdfunding campaign via CrowdCube this September. Your support will help us accelerate market expansion and continue to develop innovative products. Our collaboration with the Minnesota Vikings serves as proof of our technology's potential in gamifying and enhancing education in various high-traffic areas.
