SMART CITIES INSPIRE CITIZENS
CONNECTING CITIZENS WITH CITIES

How do cities & buildings of the future inspire people?
By using technology that captivates the imagination of people, and gets them excited about playing their part in a more sustainable future. Pavegen’s smart kinetic tech harnesses the power of the natural resource that makes a city, a city: its citizens.
We use citizens’ footsteps to create off-grid, clean-electricity to bring your city or building to life. And we use a proprietary app, Pavegen GO, to connect you with those people and help you grasp what makes them tick.
Put the ‘smart’ in your smart city by contacting Pavegen to discuss what we can do for you.

SHOWCASE YOUR CITY’S SUSTAINABILITY
Pavegen is a non-intrusive daily reminder that demonstrates a clear commitment to citizens that they live in and contribute to a more sustainable, cleaner city. Through participation-led experiences, Pavegen allows citizens to physically engage with a city’s sustainability initiatives and brings key messages to life. By contributing their footsteps, citizens can actively get involved in powering these important conversations, making the experience and your messages even more memorable.

OUR TECHNOLOGY ASKS PEOPLE
IF YOUR FOOTSTEP CAN DO THIS,
WHAT ELSE CAN YOU DO?
INSPIRE A COMMUNITY IN YOUR CITY
Through shared experience, citizens are inspired to collaborate and build bonds with the people around them, thus strengthening a community.
Pavegen harnesses the power of every footstep to generate instant clean electricity for applications such as ambient lighting or data screens and display monitors. In this way, Pavegen’s kinetic systems give citizens a sense of shared ownership, putting the smart city at their feet, with visible results all around them in the form of exciting lighting, wayfinding, gamification displays, and more. Inspiring people to think and act differently.

ENGAGE IN CONVERSATIONS & RELATE TO CITIZENS
Pavegen GO allows the community and owner of our tiles, such as local authorities, or building owners, to share ideas, views and values to build better, more connected cities. Our optional function means citizens can see when things are improving and are inspired to advocate for change when they see poor performance. Use Pavegen to relate to & engage with people in a new and more meaningful way.

REWARD CITIZEN BEHAVIOUR
By rewarding citizens for contributing their footstep, Pavegen’s digital offering, Pavegen GO, helps to continue conversations and maintain meaningful relationships. With this adaptable extension, citizens can leave a lasting impact on their community, that goes far beyond the initial touchpoint.

PAVEGEN V3 TILES
Each step on one of our tiles generates small amounts of off-grid, clean electricity. Most often used for low-power lighting sources such as LEDs or a monitor that can display anything from the amount of clean electricity being generated to important messages that need to get through. As people use the tile it captivates their imaginations and inspires them to think and act differently. We ask a simple question, if one of my footsteps can do this, what else can I do?

BANGALORE, INDIA

Residents and Citizens who engage with our tiles can download Pavegen GO to measure and share their footstep contributions. Our clients use the backend of the platform to communicate more effectively with people, understand more about their emotional preferences such as which SDG they support, and influence their behaviour through positive interaction with sustainability.
