THE CHALLENGE

Andel is Denmark’s largest energy and distribution company operating in one comprehensive energy system in Eastern Denmark. They are leveraging this position to drive the energy system in a greener direction through visionary investments in wind turbines, fibre-optic broadband, charging infrastructure for electric cars and innovative energy solutions.

Andel asked Pavegen to bring their mission to life by designing an effective way to engage with festivalgoers around sustainability at Europe’s largest music festival – Roskilde. They needed a solution that could grab visitors' attention and get them excited about renewable energy.

THE SOLUTION

Pavegen designed and built an eye-catching and stylish installation using strobe lights and gamification with the ‘ElectroShuffle’. The ElectroShuffle challenged visitors to use their best dance moves to generate the most real-time energy in competition with each other. Two Pavegen platforms allowed players to battle for the top spot on the leaderboard and compete for the chance to win tickets to next year’s festival.
