UNIVERSITY OF BIRMINGHAM, UK
EDGBASTON
A 13 SQUARE-METRE PAVEGEN WALKWAY HAS BEEN INSTALLED AT THE EDGBASTON CAMPUS
THE CHALLENGE
University of Birmingham wanted to bring their community together and meaningfully connect with students in their Edgbaston Campus.
THE SOLUTION
Helping to reclaim the ‘Green Heart’ of campus, students can now personally contribute their footsteps to help charge devices, benefitting themselves and the broader community. By walking across the 13 metre squared pathway they will generate electricity and create real time analytics.
