Last night, Pavegen Founder & CEO Laurence Kemball-Cook joined an inspiring group of innovators at an event hosted by RT Hon Rachel Reeves, and Alex Depledge MBE, a British Technology entrepreneur best known as the Founder and CEO of Resi.  

Held in London at 10 Downing Street, the heart of the UK government, the evening brought together leaders shaping culture, community, and social impact - including Michael Acton Smith (Co-Founder, Calm) and Simmy Dhillon (Founder, Simmereats). 

The focus: how the UK can help high-potential companies scale faster and grow internationally. 

Laurence shared Pavegen’s perspective on the global demand for more connected, human-centric urban spaces - places where movement becomes data, engagement, and most importantly, connection.

The evening reinforced a collective belief: 
Human-centred innovation has no borders - and the UK must champion it. 

With major projects expanding across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia, Laurence will continue this conversation during his upcoming visit to Saudi Arabia (December 21-23), where he will connect with partners shaping the future of smart, sustainable cities.
